A "spare" packet driver interface can be created by using the pktmux program
on top of a real packet driver. Perhaps winsock could use one and kermit for
DOS could use the other.... The pktmux packet driver multiplexor is available
at a number of places on the net, including at oak.oakland.edu in
/pub/msdos/pktdrvr as pktmx12h.zip.
